The problem with stuff bought off of that _ _ _ _ site is there is no one that will back up the product if something goes wrong with it. So you get it cheaper, as it is at your own risk. Now you being the original buyer if you have a problem two weeks into using it they may send you a new one.
But if I buy it from you, and I have a problem with it, in two weeks are you going to buy me a new one, or refund my money? I think not, and don't really blame you.
that is why there is some risk involved with buying used. Even if you only took it out of the box and plugged it in it is still used, and only worth about half the selling price. Some one may pay you more than half, but for a no name product that is probably all you will get. Not trying to be rude, but that is the way it is.
You find tanks on here with stands for $200, when you know that new they are worth $2000. That is just the nature of selling used stuff.
I know...that's why I said I'd take $150...I'm losing the $50 but I don't need the light.
The other one I also bought off "that site" a couple days after the first (saw it later and liked it better) and have had no problems at all with it.
So...I guess this would be like buying something used even though I haven't used it (but did turn it on). I think for $150 that's a great deal even if someone does want to change out the lights. It's a nice looking fixture. I guess if it does break within a week and someone wants to ship it back to me then I'd refund their money (but due to the size of it and price for shipping couldn't give that back). That way at least it's a little safer to buy it.
I almost should have said it was used...might not have people so silly about it! (j/k).
