Description
70 watt electronic metal halide kit. It already comes with a bulb, a reflector and housing. It has been pre-wired so you will not need to figure out the wiring schematic or worry about burning your house down. This kit is perfect for nano reef tanks. It can be mounted on the top of the tank or can be disassembled to put in a canopy. The base of the housing is about 12" x 10 1/2". I do not really know the spectrum of the bulb it comes with. The ballast has some very unique features which include- side wires( so when mounting you do not crimp or drill threw the wires), thermal protection and "auto" shut off. This ballast does have the safety UL approval. It is whisper quite(no buzzing) and low heat output. This unit comes out of the box ready to use. Just plug it and use it. You will be amazed at the results of your tank in such a short period of time. This kit will be tested prior to shipping to ensure that it functions 100% !
