mods sry to post in 2 different areas but:
i heard you can put a fu man chu lion in a 30 gallon. any pics of him?? i have 2 false percs, plan on getting a cherub angel and maby a lmb. i will eventually put corals and stuff in. will my cleanup crew end up 1 by 1 getting eaten? the only cleanup crew i am attached too is my fighting conch but he will get big. also i plan on 2 scarlet cleaner shrimp. i will bye them as adults so they stand a chance. will this work?

It sounds like you like reef safe fish and aggressive (as we all do)---in the long run, not a good idea. That is what makes this hobby so hard, IMO. As far as I know, a lionfish in a "to become reef tank" is not a good idea. Bumping ya for more info.....

Biggest problem (as responded to your other post) is that lions do not like strong light. Corals need strong light. Please do not try to combine the two.

...just be sure to have a shady overhang and caves to it to hide.

Zebra Dwarf is bigger then fu man chu, fu man chu is the smallest of all and yes will eat your clowns easily
I think you can get a colourful leaffish, stay small and wont eat your anything... they just have feeding problems

Hate to rain on the parade but in a 30 gallon with all those fish you will have serious water quality issues especially with a lion. In addition to that, Fu Man Chus are notorious for not eating and starving to death, so if you must have a lion go with a fuzzy dwarf. Ditch a few of those fish though, especially if you want a reef too. I wouldnt have that many medium sized fish in a 55 let alone a 30. In a 30 you would be limited to the lion and maybe one other fish. The Lion makes up enough bioload for a fish twice its size so make sure you have a really good skimmer. And yes the clowns would be lunch too and maybe the angel too when the lion hits full size, they grow extremely fast.

All kinds of angels can eat a cherub angel because they get just only 3", an adult coral beauty is ok w/ a fu man chu (not w/ a dwarf) but a coral beauty wont fit in a 30gal... i would go w/ 2 percs, 1 firefish, 1 sixline and one more small fish in a 30
but if you really want an agresive tank then a snowflake + an angler or a fu man chu or a dwarf

If you want to ditch the percs, I have a friend who would take them off your hands and would pay shipping to get them to him.
Let me know if you are interested.
