i am thinking of adding a Fu Manchu Lion to an existing reef tank that has 5 damsels, maroone clown, two orange skunk clowns, flame angel and probably more in a 180 gallon tank with a lot of live rock. does anyone have an idea or experience with the Fu Manchu? thanks.

Fu Manchus are the most difficult of the lions to get to eat. Once you do its no problem keeping them alive. But many times they will even refuse live food so take it at that. There are other dwarf lions which are much easier to keep alive.

I agree w/ harlequin:
If you do introduce a Fu, ensure it is eating first and if possible wean it over to dead prepared foods first. These fish are shy and will not compete w/ fast swimming fish for food, so w/ the tankmates your list, it will be last to eat.
You might consider a dwarf fuzzy or dwarf lion instead. Don't get me wrong, I think fu's are great, its just if you have no experience w/ lions this is not a starter lion

how will it be in the tank with other fish (as I listed) and invertebrates, shrimp, etc? In fact, how would a fuzzy dwarf do?

fuzzy should do ok in that tank it best to have on frozen or freeze dried food I found it very easy to convert over, once you get this done it will or shoud come to top of tank when you approch that way its not compeating with faster fish use tongs or a feeding stick fu mans are good but in smaller tank as thay hide a lot only in view in a dimly lit tank ,where you can make sure it eating.also antennata would be a good,in my 55 I have a volitan around 8 inchs long (missed sold as a antennata)
with clown and damsels so far no problem no matter what kind you get kept it well fed 3-4 times a week don't over fed.good luck

You wont have much problems with the other dwarfs but you also will have to look to find them. I agree completely on getting an antenatta. Beautiful lion, also called a spotfin lion, doesnt get as big as volitans, meaning less threat to other fish and less bioload, will generally stay in the open, after it gets used to you will come right up to the glass and watch you. I had one for a long time and wish I had a tank that I could get another in(only a reef w/small fish and a big freshwater tank). He acted like a puppy dog so much that i named him Sparky, I even fed him by hand.
