great fish...
ghost shrimp for the first 3 weeks then try PE frozen mysis to wean him over. These lions are quite finicky and will stare at dead food for a long time before converting. Also these guys tend to hide alot, they act more like a typical scorpionfish than a lionfish, but ever so cool.
Lastly, pay attention to their dorsal fins when they hunt, they have a unique rhythmic pulsation to them. you can acutally tell how the fish is doing by how these doral rays are twitching. Also check out the lower pec fin edge when hunting this rapidly vibrates to distract the prey

fmarini, thanx for the info, it is ghost shrimp for now,hes only here about 1 week now, i hear the fu manchus are the hardest to wean, but we're gonna try. i have noticed the fins, very cool, and the little dance is cool as well.... ill keep yall updated as to his acclimation to frozen... ps: thanx to all for the compliments ... im a happy camper right about now :jumping:
