Does a fuge need a sump to be effective or is it good enough by itself? I want to build a fuge for my 75. currently my filtration is seaclone 100 skimmer, emperror 400 filter, with live rock and live sand. What do i need to build the fuge and make it work best?

You have to have a pump to get the water from the fuge back into the tank.

what type of pump? like a large powerhead or what?

Ok, you have to take in how many feet from the pump to the tank. Becouse pumpshave all diferent gph per foot. A small pump usualy can only pump 1 or 2 feet. So talk with someone, whoever you get the pump from and figure out your ffet to tank and how many gph you want. (gallons per hour) Then you have to get the water from the tank and back to the tank. :yes:
