fuge, sump.

ok, I'm not exactly new to the whole swf thing but i've never been able to figure out what a fuge or a sump is used for. Or how to set one up for that matter, could anyone shed some light on this matter for me?

a sump is an area away from the tank where you can hide filters,skimmers,heaters,etc. A fuge aka refugium can help reduce nitrates or help you create a pod population
