Ok I make my emperor filter as a fuge. I have a 20 watt compact light on it. The filter is not that great, its running half as good as it should be.
So I could put corals in there right?

i really don't understand the post. thinking that may the issue with others not responding.
you are talking about a HOB filter you made into a fuge correct ?
you want to know if you can put corals in the tank you use that as the fuge for ?
WOuld love some more info and clerification...
lighting , age, bioload. ect
hope someone can help ya after you provide new info. GL

I put a light on my emporer filter so I could put some chaeto in it.
The filter in running on my fo tank.
I was wondering if I could also put corals in the filter so they could just grow in there.
I'm talking about like fraging my pom-pom xeina in there and let it grow wild.
