haha!! I could not stop laughing at that. I have fired alot of rifles and shotguns and never seen anything like that in my life except when a noob fires away with 3-1/2 shotgun shells for the first time. lol funny vid though!

Very good thought- Steel full Dram on the new super-mag 4inch is pretty dang burley, but the video is rediculous. Like they rounded up guys from a comic book convention or local music store.

Its real. Its supposed to be mounted but they didnt. Its almost a 6 cal. 5 cals are mounted too.

how many times was that dropped? I wouldn't go near it, they're just asking for trouble shooting a gun dropped that many times!

As a gunsmith I can tell you that it is staged. If you look at the video again, you will notice that they used more than one rifle. One of the guns they used is a Ruger No1 rifle. While it is a very strong and powerful rifle and chambered for some back busting, elephant dropping calibers, it wouldnt hould up to anything that would knock a man over or fall back they way they were. And yes I do own one.

From what i've read about the video there were three guns that they are using the .577 trex, a .700 nitro and there was also a ruger#1. The .577 trex is suppose to be the first sporting rifle to break the 10000 foot pounds barrier. The case is ~ 4 inches long and ~ .6 inch in diameter. Its a big round. I don't think the video is so much staged but more a lack of knowing how to shot a gun like those. Its kinda hard to be prepaired to have around 177 lbs of recoil hit your shoulder.

I think most of them are Arabic but still over 170lbs of recoil with a gun that weights about 13 lbs is gonna have a pretty bad kick even if your a strong guy.
