Hi, I have a 6" fuzzy dwarf lion and a 11" snowflake eel in a 45 gal tank. Typically my Fuzzy Dwarf eats like a fat kid at Golden Corral. I never had any problems feeding him (he ate frozen food the day after i put him in the tank). He would even do this thing where he spits water at me till i feed him. However, two weeks ago his attitude changed. He sits around a lot more, and doesn't greet me at feeding time. He hides from the tongs, but he will chase down floating food if it catches his eye. But any food he tries to eat he just spits out immediately. I thought it might be he was bored with his normal foods (shrimp, scallops, calamari, and whitefish) so i got some salmon at the supermarket. He ate some of that on monday, after not eating for a week, but has since been disinterested in food. I did a water change last weekend, thinking that might have something to do with it, but my water is perfect and he still wont eat. Does anyone have an idea why my fuzzy quit eating? What should I try?
