Ty...will keep all posted..EATING likea champ..trying to entice with frozen foods..no go as of yet..please post pics of your dwarf fuzzy lions if you have them...all red with yellow was just a great find here in ohio!! was very happy with this lions color!

How big do those get? Whats the recommended tank size??? I was thinking of getting a black-footed lion, but now I may reconsider!!!

they can get about 4-5 inches...i wouldnt put them in anything less then a 30g tank...the only thing to be careful of is that they dont take to frozen food very well...please make sure you do a lot of research before you buy one...

damn cranberry...did you photoshop that or use special settings on your camera? or is your lion really iridescent green/yellow...either way...that is a beautiful lion...

Not photoshopped. He has this yellow colourization that he turns on when he sees us and thinks food is on the way. It's always there but more subtle as you can see in this pic where he has just spotted us.
The lighting is also very yellow and I'm below the fish looking up so it accentuates his colouring.

that is a great pic of your lion...mine also color's up when he sences food in the tank...he is a pig...what does he eat?...mine eats frozen silversides and mysis shrimp...every once in a while i will treat him to a peppermint shrimp(i dont like ghost shrimp)...
