It is a nuetriant supplement, it enrichens the food it allows your fish to get bigger, brighter, and most importantly healthier.

I have been feeding mine gutloaded glass/ghost shrimp but when I am able to make it out to Galveston I net molly blennies and peppermint shrimp to feed to my little dwarf.

Mine would eat only live mysis shrimp. I eventually got him to accept frozen. Once he got used to it he would eat anything I put in the tank, pellets, flake, algae sheets, and brine.
I'll admit that I was pretty worried at first, but in the end it wound up being one of my favorite fish in my tank and it never bothered my clowns.
