No Sw fish should eat FW feeders, except very rarely.(Its tradition that my Volitans get a red or green Betta at Christmas.) FW fish are much too fatty. Also, keeping a Huma, or most triggers, with any lion is going to result in a dead lion. (Yes, there exceptions) Most triggers will eventually attack the lions fins and stress it to death.

planktonic-feeding triggers such as Xanthicthys sp. and Odonus sp.. actually make good tankmates for lions. a good "rule of thumb" is to see which way the trigger's mouth is pointed. straight forward is a "no-go", while upturned is a good choice.
most squirrelfish and soldierfish also get large enuff to hang without being aggressive.
FW fish are much too fatty
their flesh also contains the enzyme Thiaminase, which interferes with the uptake of Thiamine, which over time results in nervous disorders, clamped fins, cessation of feeding and eventually an early death. a good healthy volitans will easily live over 20 years in captivity, so they're a long-term investment.
