Fuzzy things

I have a quick question maybe someone could answer. I have found these little white things that look like white fuzzy magets. Or grains of rice with cotton on them. I found some in my filter and protein skimmer. Just yesterday i found one by my hammer. Something else I have found is these little tubey looking things on my rocks. They start of in like a coil and then point straight. Sometimes they have slime coming off of them. Any suggestions?

what makes you think they move? I said I would keep an eye out for that. I replied nope to the reef club question. What did you mean by "loomup Q-tip sponge"

Yup thats them. Also on your picture to the left of the top one are the other little things I was talking about.

cool. Now if I have both of those is that a good sign or a bad sign as far as health in my tank?
