I've never ridden one so I can only speak from what I have read, but from what I gather they are realitivly problem free. Rectifier seems to be the only thing that commonly goes on them and I believe the rear tire is an odd size which will limit your choice on tires. 75 hp stock should be more than enough for a new rider.
