I recently purchased a shrimp from my LFS called a Galapagos Island Shrimp. I normally research everything I buy before I buy it, but this was an exception. He was blue and about an inch long. I put him in my tank 7 weeks ago, and didn't see him again. That was until yesterday when I was feeding. He came out of a rock then ran back inside of it. This time however he was red. I tried to find more information on this shrimp but can't find one anywhere. I don't have a picture of it, because I only saw it twice. Is there a site that may have IDs for all shrimp? I'm sure its real name isn't a Galapagos island shrimp, and would like some more information on it. MY LFS is a waste and hey have no idea.
