Galaxia coral help

Just got back from my LFS and i got a galaxia coral (a little discolored but nothing to bad) for 6 bucks. Do i need to acclimate it, im temp acclimating now. And any info on the coral would be appreciated. thanks

Ya, I would. Once temp is the same, just slowly add water over an hour or 2 time.

if you have other coral keep it far away from them the sweepers can go out up to 6"

Ill keep that in mind. When i was placing the coral two small heads broke off and i put one of those near a kenya tree, i guess ill move that one. It is less than 6 inches away from my anemone but its down current from it so that should be fine right?
Also, are these LPS or SPS corals? Ive seen it listed as both.

ok, the main colony has opened up well, but the two little heads that broke off arnt doing much. Are those lickely to die or should they be fine. None of the tissue was damaged (that i can see). Just curious, thanks again

I dont feed but you can feed mysis google galaxia coral and you can see on utube how far the sweepers can go
