Whats the best brand to get?
Can i soak flakes in it?

I forget the brand I use (i'm at work), but I soak the pellets I use. I would think flakes would break apart to easy. Never tried it with flakes.
Usually use about 2x a week

They have a new type of "flake" that doesnt fall apart in water. Itt is thicker and concave shaped. I have only seen the freshwater version, but it is worth looking into.

They don't fall apart in liquid, so you would be able to soak them in garlic.

o i get it lol. i think the regular flakes would be ok though. i could just take some out and put it on say a plate, put a few drops andthem throw them in the tank

JnJ, I just checked and its Garlic Guard by seachem. Same as joe 09.
All I can say is that I haven't had any problems, illnesss or loses. So I guess it helps.
JOE, garlic everyday, are you marinating them for scampi?
