gastropod ID?

SOrry, no PIc - my camera's on the fritz...
flattend shell with some spiral - almost looks like a mini abalone with a very big foot and a thick probiscus. sorry for the bad spellings - light colored, probabally came in on FLA rock.

so I searched "stomatella" on this board - the very 1st pic that came up was it exactly -- posed by Fire Eater just yesterday.

Not only was Bang Guy 100% correct, he was kind enough to answer the same question TWICE inside 24 hours.
Very pleased to learn from Bang Guy's last post...
Stomatella varians aka Cap Snail - These guys are my favorite Diatom munchers. Good catch!
