GE I silicone

Is GE I silicone okay to use to glue baffles into place? Also my tank has been up and running for almost three weeks. I used an all purpose silicone to glue my baffles into place and it has an anti mildew in it. Yeah I know, stupid. Any way will I have to get rid off all my water and start over or will it be okay.

Obviously get that silicon out of the water first and foremost.
If you have only been running 3 weeks, I'm assuming you are still cycling, so I'd suggest replacing a portion of the water... maybe 50% or so, and run a large amount of activated carbon in the filter for the next month or two.

Well excuse me.

I actually did, I just didn't answer both of them.
Yes, it's safe to use as long as it does not contain an anti-mildew agent. Door & Window is the one I believe which does not.

there is ge 1 and 2 i believe. I think its the second one that contains the antimildew agent. I noticed this when i went to buy some to glue my baffles. It is bad if you used the wrong one. just dble check. I think i used what you are talking about as well on my tank. I would have to dbl check . But i know that i used the one that didnt have the anti mildew stuff in it.
