GE silicone II GOOD OR BAD

I have already put the ge silicone II in my diy sump i havent run water through it but i have went to many threads about the bio seal on it and it was an argument good or bad good or bad. Pls give me some advise

I know that the silicone II is latex (water) based. I don't think I'd use anything other than 100% pure silicone rubber.

it says on the bottle 100% silicone sealent. But still about the bioseal im conserned

I had the same question awhile ago and since I was not able to find that it was safe for certain I ended up cutting it all out and using silicone I. My GUESS is that it is safe but I am not willing to risk it so I wouldn't recommend anyone else risk it.

BAd News,...Use GE I. Its the same 100% silicone and no Bioseal

I was reading the back of those, doesn't it say that it is not for aquarium use. I got my stuff at Radioshack. They had clearanced out some silicone, I bought about 10 tubes, and payed about 15 dollars. But it isn't the gun kind. It does say safe for aquariums.
