General fish question

I know this is a saltwater site but i have a freshwater question i have a jack dempsey that i think has fin rot and i dont know what to do for it any help would be great

I have FW as well - can you post a picture? Sometimes they get velvet and it affects their fins first, there are many treatments available.

What else is in the tank with it. It looks like something is nipping it.

YIKES......believe it or not.....the fungas tabs from Walmart have always worked well for me....

some angels another jack dempsey and some tetras that one was like that when we got it except for the white stuff on him have had it and the other one for about a month and a half
