General SPS Question

I was wondering if there are certain times during the year that are better for suppliers to have SPS. It seems like right now my LFS's are getting a lot more SPS than usual. Also, I noticed that this site has a lot more for sale than normal.

summer is always the time for corals in north america. during cold weather, they simply dont ship as much due to cost and higher dieoff.

like nyc said plus some seasons are better for harvesters as there are ceartain areas that are only open to harvest during ceartain times of the year.

Industry is dying and weeding out the small farmers and the riff-raff speculators.
Massive overstock on the market right now.
Great for the hobbiests, bad for the speculators.

Also, didnt australia just open their permits for coral harvesting again a few months ago (first time in years) which has resulted in many new and rarer corals being available?

just throwing this out there the frag I got from this site were way nicer than any I could find anywhere around here. Of course all of our local LFS suck, unless you want gsp or bland mushrooms or zoas
