General Tang question

I have a 120 gallon tank and I want to put a hippo tang and yellow tang. The deminsions of the tank are 4x2x2. Will this be enough space for them? There is about 160lbs of live rock. I am purchasing them at about 2-3 inches in size.

Just my opinion...
The two Tangs you picked are the most likely to get along. I am concerned about a Hippo in a 4 foot tank though. I believe it may become aggressive or some other form of inappropriate behavior (like getting sick) in a few years as it gets larger.

Thanks for your opinion, I will probably find the hippo a new home after it gets too large for the tank, or by then I may have a larger tank.

I have a Hippo and a Brown Scopas tang in a 120 gal. They both get along great and have lots of swimming room. I have about 3oo lbs of LR and they still have loads of room. You can see them both in the picture.

I have a 15 month or so hippo in my 100 display...5 ft...
He has done well with a foxface rabbitfish and a kole for about 9 months now in the new display. The kole did die a few months ago...but I don't believe it was related to the hippo being in the same display.I may eventually get another tang....maybe a sailfin or a purple....if they are small and care is taken they can do well for a decent period of time....and thought does need to be given to arrangements if they grow too large.
