Georgia Aquarium

Me and the family have opted to go to Atlanta due to the EVIL OIL company and their spill! We will visit the Aquarium. I will try to get a good reference of photos for you landlocked folks. Will check back Friday.

Nice! I had a great time when I went last October. Grab a pic or two of the new dolphin exhibit. It wasn't open back then.
Try to make the feedings too, really cool.

Yeah...I can pretend I was with you guys ...lol....I loved the aquarium in Jenks, OK...and I know the Georgia one is wayyyyyy bigger

I just moved to Georgia and Im about 90 minutes away from the aquarium, Im thinking about making a stop there this weekend!

IMO anyone planning to visit might be better off waiting a few weeks. Schools just let out so it may be more crowded.
I personally dislike the aquarium, but from what I understand, I'm the only one on the planet who feels that way.

SCSInet makes a good point about the schools being out. I have been to the aquarium many times and it is ALWAYS crowded but could be worse right now that all schools are out for the summer now.

Well after looking at the bank account, we can't afford the $37 per person tickets. Gonna have to wait til next week after the next paycheck.

Look on the auction site and on the aquarium site periodacally for discounts. I have never paid full price.

Well folks we are back and I am going to go through the pics and Videos I got. The Dolphin exibit will not be open until November. We did very well with the crowds as we were there on a Thursday night. Still a good many people but we closed her down and they thinned out as the night went on. SCSInet, I dont see how anyone could dislike this aquarium. The only thing that worries me about the aquarium is how they can hold 3 Whale Sharks. I worry that it isnt large enough. I hope and feel that they know what they are doing. Again, I need to edit some of the videos and get them posted to the tube so you guys can see those. If you can make it then I really suggest you do. If not then enjoy the videos.
