Hey all. I just got a French Angelfish. How do I get it to eat? I haven't seen it eat yet. I have tried pellets, brine shimp and flakes. What do you suggest??

Time.....or try some nori seaweed. Did you get it from a store? Find out what they were feeding it.
I allways make the store feed fish before I buy to make sure it's eating.

Is it in a 90gallon like your other posts about your tank say?

Your going to get flamed for having a french in a 90 gallon. I also read that you have a clown trigger, powder blue tang, and a blueface angel. Just warning you of what is coming.

It barely two inches right now. I will be ordering a 240 or 300 when I get my taxes back. I will keep the big fish in the big tank and the small ones in the 90. I will make sure they have a lot of room.

A 20 gallon QT is fine for this fish. A couple potential problems; it's a small specimen and sometimes at this size they don't acclimate well. Offer it some good meaty foods. Mysis shrimp, finely chopped mussell and clam, Marine cuisine, Emerald Entree', sponge based foods. Agree with the nori. If there's no live rock in the tank and the tank is not being medicated or in hyposalinity, place a couple pieces of rock for grazing/added shelter. A healthy fish should be curious about different foods and should eventually eat just about anything.
