Getting Ick Out of Reef Tank

i have ick in my reef tank i removed my fish and put them in QT how long will it take before the ick dies off in my reef tank and when will it be safe to put my fish back in to the tank its a 135g.

It will take 3 weeks without fish. By the time you have finished treating your fish, then it should be fine. Just always use a QT in the future.

thanks for the help beth im new to the hobby and for that reason dont think i should do a hypo at least not till i learn more me doing one could be a diasater

Hyposalinity is safer if you are concerned because you are new. There are only two treatments that kill ich, they are hyposalinity and copper. Please read through the treatments and let us know which you would like to do.
