my acrylic 125 is weird at the top. no cutouts in the back. the middle cutout is 7" from the back wall so to put powerheads in i have to have the chord come out in the middle of my tank thats ugly and every1 will see it more than u want too. i was thinking about going through the overflow but its glued to the top of the tank so i cant fit a chord in that. suggestions. i have 4 maxijets 1200's i need in my tank.... just drill away? make holes for the plugs to come out in the back.? pics are being posted.
EDIT* that hole on the left is where my return line is going in.. so i cant use that and my powerheads are going to go in the middle of the overflows i have 1 on each side.... there gonna go on the inside of them. and theres 7"s from the opening.... how stupid huh?

The acrylic should be easy enough to work with. THe problem is where to drill. I would put the hole in the top brace. A rule of thumb for glass is the edge of the hole should be as far from a corner/edge of the tank as the diameter of the hole. This is for strength in the glass tanks. I'm not sure about acrylic. Just my opinion. . .Hopefully someone more experienced with working acrylic will chime in. . . :notsure:
