I hope this year won't be as bad, My Grandmother lost the whole roof of her house last year in Mandeville,JA.

Hi, we road out charlie last yr, The eye hit about 20 mile north of me. We lost 3 trees, and part of our fence, a window in my daughters room. and had to have a new roof from loss of shingles. We spent 4 days in a motel, because my husband has to work thru them.So its just me and the three kids two dogs and the cat. and of course now my tank. Hoping dennis dosent come to visit.

Teresa...Just out of curiosity...how did your tanks weather the storms last year? no power, light, ect? Ft Laud here...trying to get a few battery backups ready for this years season. I hear a lot of people do the battery operated air pumps…but I know I was without power last year for 3-4 days each and we barely got hit here in Ft Laud. Did you lose anything? A lot? Thanks for the imput and good luck this year!

I think you can get battery air pump in the fishing dept. they use them for minnow buckets. I am going to wal mart and gas station in an hour, hope to avoid crowds. Good luck everyone! Prayers all around.
