getting sand off live rock

whats the best way to keep my sand off my live rock, and the best method for cleaning the sand off the work

Turkey bastor or a Powerhead.

Plastic tubing attached to a powerhead will give you a little more control over the direction and angle of flow

I also use a turkey baster, it is gentle on the coral, but effective.
