getting small scratches out of acrylic

i just got me a show size 100 gallon acrylic tank, and well this guy used a mag and was cleaning the algae and put some small scratches on the inside of the tank. i am going to drain it down clean it very well but was wondering the best product to get this tank back to new condition, the tank is awesome looking but i need these scratches out. also i have a power sander tool i could use or i could use just elbow grease but would like to hear some experance and product recomendations. thanks again!!!!!

No personal experience.... but I use elbow grease on detailed projects. There are several aquarium acrylic buffing kits available at nearly every online store.

My wife works at a glass shop, they scratced this guys acrylic motorcycle windshied and used meguires polish, the kind you get at an auto parts store to remove the scratchs.
