Getting the Eel out

I have a sowflake eel in my reef tank that I want to move to a different tank. The problem is I can't seem to cath him. I have tried to lure him out with fish and he does come out, but he never gets his whole body out from the LR. Is there any "trick of the trade" someone out there can tell me. I spent all morning trying to get him and I am starting to think that he may be smarter than I am.
Thanks

From what I have heard, other than removing the rock, you may have to keep trying for quite a while to catch him. Like most fish, you have to be patient when trying to catch them. I have seen a plastic beaker, the kind used in photography or chemistry that are long tubes basically. Try attaching the food to the bottom and lay it on its side. When the eel goes in for the food, place something over the other end. A piece of PC would work, if you cap one end. You'll just have to watch closer to see that he is inside. Hope this helps.
