I restarted my tank after trying to eliminate Chladophora for a couple years.

I started the 20 gal. tank with dry rock and am seeding it with a single live rock from the LFS. The live rock has some wiry algae growing on it. It's a small amount and wouldn't really show up in pictures. I think it is GHA. The rock has been in the tank for a week now.

Thoughts?

It could be gha or it could be byropsis. Idk hard to tell with no pic lol.

If.possible u could take the piece of Lr out and scrub and rinse in something with some sw or reg water....As long as u have more Lr. Use a new toothbrush...
