Giant Flea in my tank?

Well I finally found one coming out in the day light and got a video of him and snapped some half way decent photos. Does anyone have any idea what this is? My tank is crawling with them at night.

HOLY CRAPPY PIC BATMAN!!!

Seriously though, can't see ANYTHING in the pic but most liekly it is just copepods and/or amphipods. They are good to have. Do a search on here or google and see if thats what they are

Yeah I couldn't get a good enough pic but the video is in pretty good focus.

looks like a dead floating mysis.. i had tons of them in my tank,, my fish used to love chasing them around

Well I looked through google for amphripods and I found out that these little guys in my tank are gammaridean amphipods.

I've got these in my tank as well. Only noticed them at night with a red light tho. No idea what thet are,but I can only describe them as giant flea's as well!! My mate thought I was made untill i lent him my red light and he also has them in his tank!!

I know what your talking about. I looked a few weeks back and saw about 50 or so running around. They only come out at night. I dont know what they are but my guess is that they taste good for the fish.
