Like Anonone said with hers no problems with mine either. Odd, that stray voltage may be a issue. Our home is quite too, no kids, or load noises exept a dog bark now and then, is outside noise an issue?? Like others here I have had my "roto-tiller" for almost two years with a open top. The only time he ever leaves the bottom is if he sees good drifting down his way. The only fish that ours seems to have an issue with is our LMB. They both seem to like the same areas but not each other too well. I have read time and again about there carpet surfing but no problems here YET!! Here I guess he would be hardwood floor surfing........
