Glad I listened about hydrometer

I have been checking my salinity with a deep six swing arm hydrometer and well it was showing about 1.024 and I went to see my friend that ownes the LFS here and asked to use his refractometer. WELL my salinity was at 1.028

Just make sure you lower it slowly!

It is a refractometer. Do a search online, you can find them most anywhere.

well right now I have no fish in the tank just 2 H crabs and like 3 snail and thats it. I was going to take out about 3-5 gallons and replace with just ro water at a rate of about 1 gallon per hour then I would start drip acclimating my fish.
