Glass Anemones Taking Over

I've searched the threads, but no luck under this topic. I have a forest of Glass Anemones (Aiptasia), and they are stinging my mushrooms, etc... I recently bought a group of 5 peppermint shrimp from this site, but after 3 weeks I haven't noticed any change in numbers. Does anyone have some other recommendations for me? Thanks.

Try lemon juice. It works and it's cheap!
My brother-in-law lives in Simi Valley, CA and has a 180 setup that was starting to get taken over with Aiptasia. We took fresh lemons that he had growing in his backyard and then squirted each anemone in the mouth with the lemon juice. After about 15-30 minutes, you would see their bodies swell and start to leave the crevices that they were burrowed in. We would then pull them out with tweasers, leaving them intact that way they would not reproduce again from broken pieces.
I would say, altogether, that we took out around 50 or so LARGE aiptasia anemones using this method. Hope this helps.
