Glass Cleaner?

Is there anything alive that works as an algae eater, such as a pleco for the freshwater tank? It's not a big deal, but I'd rather scrub the glass less if it is possible? Any suggestions would be great.

Snails. Turbo, astrea, and margarita just to name a few. You'll still have to clean the glass some, but not nearly as much if you have a decent amount of snails in there.

Snails will eat some growth - but then you're left with glass with "snail trails" running all over the place.
I've yet to see a tank with enough snails that will keep the glass "clean" enough for most hobbyists. We like that glass CLEAN ;)
A magnetic algae remover is by far the easiest way to keep the glass clean.
If you have a Magfloat cleaner - good for you.
If you're reaching in the tank to scrub glass - take a look at the Magfloats
They are a real time saver and do the trick !

Does anyone find that the algae gets kind of hard to get off the glass. I have that same mag float in the pic above but it does not seem to get some fo the hard stuff off. What do I do about that?

I have a scraper. I also have a acrylic tank. So I have to be very careful. I have herd that people so go in there with some kind of sponge and do it by hand. I have used one of those sponges on a handel and they are hard to used. I can not seem to get the right angle on it. My maf float gets off the light dust type of algae. I also hate getting close to the sand. :D I dont want to get a peice in between the maf float. :D Does anyone have and secrets when it comes to cleaning close to the sand.
Also has anyone put any kind of filter media or sponge in between the mag float to get more claning power?

Thats ok. I will stick with the mag float. :D I was just trying to see if anyone has any other ways that they use it. Some secrets you know. :D Or what else to use for that hard algae. That stuff is a pain. Do you get hard stuff on your glass?
