I have a 120g with 1/2 glass and my dad has a 75g. it's thick but its not as thick as mine. I didn't answer, becuase I don't know the right answer. But I'm pretty sure it's not 1/2"
I even looked around at some links and couldnt find any answers so I gave up :p

I know the thickness is based more on the height than the length of a panel...I have an old 125 laying around that is 1/2", but I couldn't see them building with 3/8", but highly possible. I know the glass calculator recommends 1/2".

I was looking for something from like all-glass, but didnt come up with anything.
I know if I were building it myself I'd make it out of 1/2" :)
My tank is a heavy SOB, but I also don't worry about it like I did my old 90g

Are you downsizing from 90g to 75g?? I Googled all over until I got frustrated and couldn't find an answer for you. I have all glass, I won’t buy acrylic because it scratches too easy…LOL…it is a heavy “_ _ _” My 75g was heavy as well.
I know the tank distorts the depth perception. I think the thicker the glass the more it distorts. They have those really nice ones from Glass Cages, but the price is out of the ball park on them.

I know what you mean about the frustration of trying to locate thickness. So Florida Joe I'm assuming just shy of 1/2"?

No, I upgraded from my 90g wave tank to a 120g standard rectangle. My dad has a freshwater tank that is 75g that I was basing off of.

checked with my three LFS and they all state for 120 The dimension is 48"(L) X 22"(W) X 26"(H) and the thickness of the glass is 1/2 (12 mm). ...
