What do you guys and gals think about their tanks?
Are they high quality or should I just go with a special order Oceanic.
I am looking to buy a 390g 96x30x31
or a 465g 96x36x31
Thank in advance,
James

I have decided to wait on the large tank until we find a bigger house.
I am going with a 175RR oceanic Bow Front.

You can't even compare and Oceanic to Glass Cages Tanks in my book!!!!! I own and Oceanic and had the previous Oceanic tank let loose in the side panel... My current tank is an Oceanic... I was pricing a new tank and looking at the Oceanic again and I've seen tanks of theirs were the corners and side panels aren't even square and they put quality inspection stickers on their tanks!!!!!!

I just recently had a 240 custom built from Glass Cages, and I have to say it is incredible.... Toms' work is fantastic!!!!! I drew my plans up and faxed them over and he called and we went over details and everything went well. The tank is euro braced so there is no cross bracing on the tank, and he even drilled my euro bracing to make it super easy to plumb my OM as well... The tank is a monster and the Low E glass is fantastic.... Overflow was custom design and no extra charge, and try to do that with Oceanic...
Oceanic prices went up this past fall and if you don't go with the standard line you will get screwed for it..... Price the Oceanic and then call Glass Cages and compare his prices... Get the Low E glass and you won't ever think twice about an Oceanic again!!!!!

Yeah it is....like starphire. I think (don't quote me on this) but Dupont or somebody actually makes Starphire glass and that is what they call it.... Someone did tell me a reliable source and most of you know Kip that when side by side you might notice, and again I say might notices a slight difference between the two, but definitely worth the extra cash. You don't have to have the whole tank down in Low E. I just had the front panel and the 1 side panel that will be visible. Why do it all when you won't be viewing it from the back????
