Gloves

Hi guys. Here's a question for all you who keep Lionfish:
Are there any sort of aquarium gloves out there that would ensure safety against the spines of a lionfish? If so, I may have to rethink my tank :O

i have a lionfish in my 90 and all u have to do is watch him and ur garenteed lion safe

lionfish are harmless. i have my hands in my tank all the time and he doesnt evan come near me. that doesnt mean dont take caution, but theres no need for gloves

Not mine. I have to dodge him when I feed. He'll come right to your hand every time.
So I wouldn't say that they're harmless. Most of them shy away, but mine is not one of them.

Good point..Like i said in my thread, be cautious, but i guess it all depends on personallity of the fish

I have a lion thats so used to me I can have my hands right next to him while cleaning, even have brushed up against him while cleaning

well if you took welders Gloves and diped them in a latex coating that might work.
