Okay, I want to make a little box of acrylic, with an open top. So when it breaks through the surface every fish is crystal clear when looked down apon. So this is my question.
How do you glue the sides and bottom together? epox or just super glue? What do you use if you where to make an acrylic tank?

WeldOn 3 or 4. WeldOn16 will/does work, but messy, and shrinkage is a factor. 16 should be used for gap filling.

Trust me.... I do keep and use my tube of WeldOn 16, but as a last resort. It's just not a good way to control the flow of the solvent. When I had mentioned "shrinkage" as Henry laughed at me.... I reference to a super acrylic thread by James of Envision acrylics which has more talent and experience in his pinky than I, but he'll also talk about how the solvent skins over and shrinks. Try drilling a hole in a scrap piece and then use 16 to fill the hole.... You'll see on initial application all appears well, but when dried you'll notice the shrinkage.....
Bang you know I never disagree with you!!!!
