Why are people posting mandarins?They are dragonets..not gobies at all....one of the misconceptions in this hobby.Scooters are'nt blennies either..

yes, you are correct, but most relate them to the goby, so lets just look at these beautiful fish while we can.

Ok..I just don't like new people to get the wrong impression..that they are easy to care for like a goby is.

How big do the get? I love them, very pretty-could you tell me more about them?

They are very beautiful but need a very well established tank. Most will die if they do not take to frozen food. Their natural food is pods and if your tank is not about 1 year old with alot of rockwork I would not attempt a Mandarine or any other dragonette like a Scooter Blenny.

Well sorry to say..I don't have the tank set up yet. But would never get a fish without looking up info or talking here first! Thanks! You have helped me yet again.... maybe i'll just get a picture of one and tape it to the tank!!
When I do get it up and running, cycled and so forth I'll be asking lots of questions about what fish I would like! :happyfish
