do gobies suffer from the same type of limited diet as blennies?
are gobies known for starving to death like blennies?

I have a pink spotted gobi and a pair of yasha haze gobis. The Pink spot will anything you give him from flake to squid. The yasha haze gobis are a little difficult to feed because they don't venture far from their burrow. They depend on what the current brings by. I feed them live brine shrimp, flake and cyclop-eeze. They are still alive so they are getting enough food, but I'm over feeding their tank and have a bit of a nitrate problem.

The only suggestion I have is to use a baster or a syring and squirt (slowly) the food right by the gobies area. That way they will get food while you don't have to overfeed your tank in order for some to float by.
I had a neon goby that was being harrassed by a sixline wrasse and would hide under a rock. It was scared to come out to feed because the sixline was constantly on the hunt for him. Anyhow, I had to shoot frozen brine shrimp towards my goby every day until I was able to catch the sixline and return him to the store. Good luck

The yasha haze gobies run from the baster and anything else that enters the water. they're very shy. I'm setting up another tank and I'm thinking I could run a 1/4" tube to the area of their burrow and squirt food through the tube.
