Well, I have gone to websites and read species bios, do I need to show them to everyone to prove I have taken first steps or something such as that?

The Watchman Yellow Goby is also known as the Watchman Yellow Prawn, Yellow Shrimp Goby, or Yellow Watchman Goby, was first discovered in 1936 by Herre. The head and body are yellow-orange with bright blue spots on the head and fins. The Watchman Yellow Goby wears an amusing perpetual frown, and likes to peek out from behind rocks. They have been known to form symbiotic relationships with pistol shrimp.
It requires a 30 gallon or larger aquarium with plenty of loose coral rubble, ample swimming room, and a sand bottom for burrowing. It rarely becomes aggressive towards other fish, but it is territorial, and will fight with its own kind unless they are a mated pair. It may try to jump out of the aquarium or other small openings, therefore, a tight-fitting lid is required to prevent escape.
The Watchman Yellow Goby diet should include a variety of mysid shrimp, brine shrimp, table shrimp, and frozen preparations for carnivores. It should be fed at least twice per

Firefish Goby - Nemateleotris magnifica
Also known as: Brownbarred Goby
The Nemateleotris magnifica grows up to 3 inches. The small size will come to you generally 1 to 1½ inches; the medium generally 1½ to 2½ inches; the large generally 2½ to 4 inches. The Firefish Goby prefers a tank of at least 20 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim. The Firefish Goby is a low maintenance fish and may act peacefully toward other fish. This is a hardy fish. Able to breed. Reef-safe. Gobies may sometimes attempt jump out. Needs places to burrow. Prefer presence of substrate. Nemateleotris magnifica. This is a very hardy fish that adds great color to any tank. Great beginning fish. They like to have current and plenty of caves and holes to dive into if they get spooked in a tank. Be sure to buy some sort of rock with burrowing holes, for they like to hide if they are shy or if they feel threatened. Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78° F). The Firefish Goby is commonly collected from the Indian Ocean.
Need I continue, or go on with the others? My point is that, I have already google searched, and looked at online wholesalers species profiles, and PART OF MY RESEARCH is to come hear and hear of actual experiences and opinions that are usually valued in this forum, because we all know shady LFS aren't much help.
I am here trying to hear what y'all think. If I need to prove myself first or show some effort, other than wanting to be a part of knowlege sharing here in this forum, then they should let you know up front when you sign up. Not biting your head off, but just making observations and requests, then? eh?

I think the only guy he might have a problem with is the flame. Since they both like to sit on the sand. But you know, the watchmen I've seen could dart pretty fast in their hole.
But then again, I'm just theorizing. Maybe someone who has one could say if he could hold his own with the hawkfish.
