Gobies!

i see that most gobies have the warning that they may jump out. does this apply to all gobies or just the gobies with the warning?

Most of the gobies that do jump out of your tank are firefish both regular red and purple, and maybe sometimes golden head or orange spot IME. I've had a yellow clown goby for almost half a year now and never saw him try and jump, but I had a tough time getting him to eat in the first place. If you don't have an open top, you should be fine with potential jumpers.

yea i don't think many gobies will jump except for the firefish...but i don't think that is really scientificaly considered a goby...

Is a lawnmower blenny a good fish to start with?

daredeveil: IMO, yes, just make sure he would eat more than just hair algae.

I have a yellow clown goby and he juped out three times!! Thank god I found him before it was to late.
