Goby and a dwarf lion

Would a watchman goby be OK in a tank with a dwarf lion? The LFS near me had one that was about 4inches long, which is longer than the lion. I read that they are not compatable but figured it was because most of the larger lions could make a snack out of the gobies.

The lion grows to 5+ inches and can eat a fish half their size. A watchman grows to two inches. Are you sure you didn't see a different goby? What did it look like?

Once the fuzzy gets a bit of growth, I would look out for the watchman. As sepulation said, I think four inches is a bit over an overestimate for a watchman...

This site has it listed as a Diamond Goby, the LFS had it listed as a Watchman Goby. I researched it and read that it can grow up to 6 inches.

a diamond goby wouldn't be lunch for a dwarf lion, if the goby is that size.
