I bought this from my LFS a while ago, sold out of a tank of "Assorted gobies and blennies" (I actually asked for the black eye bar sand sifter but got this guy
) I don't know what he is but he's about 2, 2.5 inches long and has paired with my pistol shrimp (which btw is the cutest thing EVER!
)
Funny side story, this guy has jumped out of my tank, landed ont he glass lid to a feeder tank beside it, rolled off that and plopped into my QT on the lower level of my stand and survived for I dont know how long in cold nasty water with no food. Then survived a (stupid of me) shock directly back into my display tank without acclimating. The thing is tough as nails.
Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the reply. I googled Lizard Blenny and they appear to have pointy snouts, this guy does not at all. And his eyes are REALLY close together, like a mudskipper. I think I can enlarge/get better pics when I get home. I will try posting some better ones.

Hmmmm he's got no colors just very pale grays. No "spots" per se, very big mouth (frowny face). Googled pics of pink spot and white sanded but I don't think those are him either. They both seems to have colored spots.
This guy is a tough one. I should've looked in the tub before he bagged him at the store. I'm glad he paired with my shrimp but a mystery fish is not something I wanted.
