Goby/Clam Question

I have a sleeper headed goby that always picks rocks up and then excretes them out of his gills. He drops them about 6 inches above the ground. I am thinking about getting a clam, will these rocks being dropped effect the clam because they have a hole in their skeleton? Thanks. :jumping:

Maybe you can get a crocea,and put it more then 6 inches above the sand bed in the rocks, since thet prefer rockwork anyway, that way the clam won't be affected at all. I would think the sand and rocks would bother it if you put it on the sand.
