Goby question

I just got a diamond goby yesterday and i had a question.. I know they burrow in the sand, well today when i woke up i found him covered in sand under some rock.. Will the sand fall off of him? I didn't think they would be covered in it!

i HAVE NEVER SEEN OR HEARD OF THIS. hOW IS IT ACTING? IF IT SEEMS THAT HE HAD BURROWED UNDER A ROCK AND THE SAND THAT WAS REMOVED FEEL IN ON HIM, IT MAY NEED SOME HELP. IF IT SOMETHING THAT LOOKS LIKE HE IS COMFORTABLE WITHA ND CAN REMOVE HIMSELF AT ANY TIME, LEAVE HIM BE. JUAT MY OPINION. SOMEONE ELSE MAY HAVE ACTUAL EXPERIENCE.

I have a Diamond goby... he burrows in the sand every night. But never has sand on him while out. If he looks stuck... help him out. If he is just hanging out... nothing to worry about.

Guess hes ok after all lol, hes out sifting making a mess as i type

.. Looks like he might be breathing a little hard but its only when hes sifting so i dunno
